A global social media titan collides with the tech world’s youngest unicorn. The result? A fresh way of viewing the most viral mobile content

From the phone to the TV
Atmosphere TV landed a partnership with social media giant, TikTok. Atmosphere created a custom entertainment channel for their streaming service built off the viral content featured on TikTok. The result was TikTok TV, a new was to view mobile content in a public setting on tv. I was tasked with creating a GTM strategy that clearly communicated the new product along with accompanying ads and still pieces for lead generation and performance marketing channels.

TWO in ONE
I needed to visually communicate the transition from mobile content to tv screen. I first created carousel images for social media where a user would swipe from a mobile phone view of content, to a TV width constraint. We used a mix of family friendly, viral dancing, and cooking images to align with the most common types of content on TikTok.








Inspired by horror
I’m not a fan of horror films. Frankly, they scare me. I internalize them and lose sleep over the fear that there’s a new monster under my bed. A single horror picture in particular however inspired the second group of images for this launch campaign. Remember when the creepy wet chick from the well in The Ring steps out of the screen to terrorize the film’s characters? I can’t seem to forget it. Keep that image in mind when you scroll down…
